Newly appointed officials of the Supreme State Audit department have been told to get down to serious work and to ensure rigor and abnegation in the discharge of their duties.
The Minister Delegate at the Presidency in-charge of Supreme State Audit, Justice Mrs. MbahAchah Rose Fomundam, made the exhortation to her new  collaborators while commissioning them into their different functions, at the conference hall of her ministry, on Friday, 06 August 2016.
Appointed by presidential decree on 22 July 2016, the laureates included 2 Technical Advisers, several Heads of Division, a Director of General Affairs DAG, Heads of Sections, Chiefs of Brigade, Sub-Directors, Research Officers, State inspectors and State Controllers.

The appointments came on the heals of reports in the press to the effect that state auditors were planning to go on strike to protest against inadequate working conditions among other recriminations. The state Inspectors also reportedly complained that the new minister, MbahAchah Rose was indifferent to their plight.
It is hoped that following the redeployment of the personnel of the department, the trouble-makers have been weeded out and the minister can now go about her work with a cool head, even though she would need to listen to the complains of her staff.
