Lion’s midfielder, Enoh Eyong who recently signed for Standard de Liège, Belgium is confident that if the Indomitable Lions play as a team, qualification would be the result. “I think if we work as team knowing we have no Messi or Ronaldo, but just Cameroonian players, we are going to fight together with our potentials to qualify”.
Enow describes the atmosphere in the team saying, “We are all here because the coach called everyone of us and as players of the national team and there is no big and small player”.
“We had a meeting during which there was an introductory session. At the training sessions we continue to know one another better and there is a good atmosphere in the team.
“We are really mixing up and there is no distinction between the young and old players as we sit together and the training helps us a lot.
He acknowledges that, “This is the first time we are going to play together so we have much work to do”.
As players, we have confidence in the staff and the players are called up, thanks to their potentials and quality to contribute to the national team, he said.
