Cameroon international striker Mohamadou Idrissou has made a surprise move to joined Shkendija in the Macedonian league after signing a one year contract. Idrissou, 34-year-old, who was currently playing for Israeli side Maccabi Haifa, made only five appearances for the Israeli side before joining the Red and Blacks as a free agent.
After a flourishing career in Germany with FSV Frankfurt, Wehen, Hannover 96, Duisburg, Freiburg, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Eintracht Frankfurt and Kaiserslautern in which he made 139 Bundesliga appearances and 164 in the Bundesliga 2, he will be looking to do the same in his new found Macedonian League.
Idrissou made 41 appearances for the Indomitable Lions and took part in the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup and three Africa Cup of Nations in 2004, 2008 and 2010. He managed 9 goals for his national team.
