Clinton Njie scores as Cameroon beats Algeria

Njie Clinton returns after eight months of absence, and Pangop Franz of Union of Douala has helped Cameroon pick three points and win for the honour of the team already eliminated during the World Cup qualifiers in their fourth outing in the qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup.
Cameroon with six points were already eliminated from the Russia expedition, but the Lions had to win the game to make peace with the public.
Aboubakar Vincent sent a long shot upfront connected skilfully by Njie Clinton past Algerian goalkeeper, Mbolhi Adi Rais 25 minutes into the game.

Cameroon wasted five corner kicks besides Bassogog missing a big opportunity to slot in a goal from a superb pass from Njie Clinton.
The Algerians pressed hard in the second half attracting free kicks which they all squandered. The last minutes of the game saw the Lions play a disjointed game.
Pangop Franz of Union of Douala increased tally at the 89th minute to the delight of spectators as he has raised the perception of the local players.
