Ekondo-titi council gets new municipal treasure

By Eddy Bokuba in Kumba
The Ekondo-titi Council in Ndian Division of the South West Region has a new Municipal Treasurer. Iyassa Moses was installed into his new functions on 20th June 2014 at the Council hall. He replaces Sona Makia Simon, transferred to Nguti Council in the same capacity.
Prior to his news function, he had occupied several positions at the level of the Ekondo-titi Council, notably computer secretary, civil status secretary, treasury clerk, revenue collector, custom services and head of the finance department.

Commissioning the new MT into his function, the S.D.O, Babila Akauo urged him to use his skills in financial management to properly coordinate with the Mayor of the Council to chat a better way forward for the Council. He said the new MT is a square peg in a square hole.
He advised that any Council where is loggerhead between the M.T and the Mayor is bound to fail in its developmental drive.
The new M.T was born on the 12th August 1974 at Ekondo-titi. He holds a diploma in council management from CEFAM.
