CRTV GM announces salary cuts

CRTV General Manager broke the news to workers last Friday 26 July 2017 in a Press Release which indicates that the state-owned broadcaster shall witness drastic salary reduction in the coming months.

                The release signed by Charles Ndongo has had diversified interpretations and is making headlines around the country as well as on social media.

                The announcement comes on the heels of a newspaper publication criticizing the very huge salaries paid to General Managers of some state corporations including CRTV.

                Critics say the decision by Charles Ndongo may just be to divert public attention from the newspaper revelation that has attracted wide criticism from the public.
