The Limbe council in its yearly commitment has handed didactic materials to head teachers of primary schools on Wednesday October 18, 2017 at the conference hall of the council in down beach, Limbe.

The mayor praised the Limbe I basic education family and said due to the ongoing crisis in North West and South West Region Limbe | Subdivision recorded the highest number of children in school and urged them to continue with the good collaboration with the administrators.
He further challenged the head teachers to embark on door to door campaign to get children back to school as he described the time as critical.
Earlier at the event the inspector of basic education for Limbe Ekosse Njie Bernard thanked the mayor Rodanny Mbua for his good gesture to facilitate the minimum package for coming at this early period and said the year minimum package that the government gives to the basic educational sector ever year is sensitive and delighting in which it will go along way to at least assist in the teaching and learn process.
Ekosse Bernard cautioned head teachers to use the didactic materials adequately and should not stay in their houses, and said they will continue to embark on door to door campaign so as to use the materials with the children in the classroom.
