Since the official launch of the campaigns in the North West region, supporters and sympathizers of the CPDM party in Mezam under the leadership of Felix Mbayu, Divisional Coordinator of the 2018 Presidential Election Campaigns for Mezam division have constantly been in the field and have prioritized door to door and mouth to ear campaign strategies to woo voters.
Felix Mbayu and his team are upbeat that Paul Biya is the only candidate that can help address the current crisis rocking the two Anglophone regions and that he is a comprehensive insurance for living together, development and stability.
While installing the Mezam divisional team made up of Mezam 1a, 1b, 1c, Mezam II Section and Mezam III Sections of the ruling party the CPDM, Felix Mbayu, noted that that as the founding division of the CPDM party, the population had had an obligation to the party.
“The CPDM was founded here in the North West Region. The President has come to Mezam so many times. The people of Mezam, asked for University, he has given them one of the best Universities. So, he is our candidate, he should be our candidate, particularly at these challenging times.” He noted.

“We need a steady hand, an experienced hand, a sure hand at the helm of State and you know, nobody is better at this time for Mezam than President Paul Biya. So, this is the message we are coming to give our militants, we are telling them that they are many other candidates but none of them has demonstrated anywhere in their previous life that they were capable of doing anything, let alone manage a country which is going through tough times like Cameroon”, Minister Felix Mbayu added
He used the opportunity to again re-emphasized that it is inadmissible and unreasonable in the 21st century to refuse children from going back to school.
The Minister Delegate in the Ministry of External Relations in charge of the Commonwealth, pleaded on the people of the North West Region to re-think the school boycott tactics and re-launch a campaign to mobilize parents to send back their children to school.
