Cameroon names 27-man ahead of friendlies

Twenty seven (27) players of the national team have been called up for the friendly matches due to take place in the month of June.
    The list was made public during a press conference that was led by Laurence Fotso Marketing and Communication Department of FECAFOOT.
    Also sitting on the same table, Vincent de Paul Atangana (the team Press Officer) and Alphonse Tchami (team manager)
    Head coach Volke Finke who is going to officially renew his contract this Sunday has brought in three new comers alongside four players playing in the domestic league.

    Toko Ekambi who plays for FC Sochaux,Eboa Eboa Felix of Paris Saint Germain and Justin Mengolo of FC Cluj (Romania) are convened for the first time in the lion’s den.
    The return of Joel Matip national team will not happen this June. According to information made public during the press conference, the Cameroon international will undergo surgery in the off season.
    Overall, the technician has placed his confidence in the group that was in the Asian tour during the FIFA Friendly week.
    The indomitable Lions will start their campaign in Paris France on June 3rd and will play a friendly with Burkina Faso on the 6th of June and three day later, they will take on DRC in Belgium on the 9th before taking on Mauritania in Yaounde on June 14, 2015 for the first qualifying match of the 2017 AFCON in Gabon.
