Cabinet Reshuffle:

The current that flows between Paul Elung
& Ngole Philip should now flow even better
KupeMuanenguba ‘en haut’ with two ministers
- Ngole Philip Ngwese maintained at Forestry
- Elung Paul Che stages spectacular rebound at MINFI

Hundreds of youths took to the streets of Tombel and Bangem on Friday, to celebrate the appointment of Mr. Elung Paul Che as minister delegate to the ministry of Finance and the confirmation of Mr. Ngole Philip Ngwese as Minister of Forestry and Wildlife.
The Median gathered that the celebrations in Tombel, Bangem and other villages in KupeMuanenguba Division continued until very late into the night.
In Tombel for instance, jubilant youths marched to the home of Pa Elung, father of Mr. Elung Paul, to congratulate him once again for bearing a son who has always done KupeMuanenguba Division in general and Tombel in particular proud.
The youths left the compound of Pa Elung and marced straight to Mr. Paul Elung’s residence situated just a stone throw from the father’s. Here they continued dancing and hotting up the place, even though their illustrious “big brother”, Paul Elung was not in town to ‘farote’ them as he has always done.
Back in Yaounde, sons and daughters of the South West region, mostly those from KupeMuanenguba trooped into the Simbock Palace of MrNgole Philip Ngwese where they took turns to file past and congratulate the minister and his wife.
Dressed in a simple short sleeve shirt with black trousers to match, the minister in his characteristic easy-going disposition, shook the hand of every one of his guests, saying “thank you for coming”.
The guests were supplied drinks of their choices – Beer, whisky, champagne etc, as they eased themselves into the seats provided in the courtyard of the very expansive compound.
It was idem at the Odzaneighbourhood residence of the GM of the Hydrocarbons Prices Stabilization Fund CSPH, who is now the Minister Delegate at the MINFI, Mr. Elung Paul Che, who unfortunately was not at home to welcome his guests.

The Median gathered that Mr. Elung had travelled out of the country – specifically to Europe and Asia, on official mission, when the news of the cabinet shake-up broke out. We however learnt that the new minister cut short his sojourn abroad and rushed home on Saturday evening.
Even though Mr. Elung was not there to welcome his guests, his ever smiling and very hospitable wife, Mrs Sylvie Elung, was readily available to receive the guests and make them comfortable.
MrsElung made sure there was enough champagne and exquisite wine and whisky for her guests. And those present could not be indifferent to the intermittent shouts of “O so ho nso… O so ho nso… O so ho so… Ho” from the men and women from KupeMuanenguba division.

Two Ministers
The appointment Friday of Mr. Elung Paul as Minister Delegate at the MINFI has brought to two the number of cabinet ministers from KupeMuanenguba Division. This is because Ngole Philip Ngwese was maintained as Minister of Forestry and Wildlife where he has been since November 2011.
It is worthy to note that it is the first time KupeMuanenguba is having two ministers in the same government. They  now join Manyu Division that also has two ministers – Prof. Peter AgborTabi, ASG of the Presidency and Mengot Victor Arrey – Minister of Special Duties at the Presidency.
Commentators said by giving two ministers to KupeMuanenguba Division, President Biya has not only reminded the people at the foot of Mt. Kupe that he has always had them close to his heart but has also renewed the pact that many believe he entered with KupeMuanenguba Division since decades ago.
It is important to note that ever since President Biya acceded to the Etoudi thrown on 6th November 1982, he has always made sure KupeMuanenguba sons and daughters occupy good positions in the administration. Prominent names like EbongNgalame, Albert NgomeKome, John EbongNgole, Elvis NgolleNgolle  are only some of them.
