solutions to eventual misgivings and remarks the African Football
Confederation, CAF Expert may pronounce in the validation of the 20,000

“Whatever
the eventual remarks and reservations pronounced by CAF, be assured that

the validation of the stadium in line with engagements taken to honourably host
the 2016 African Women Championship and the 2019 African Nations Cup,” the
Sports Minister said.
The
stadium was inaugurated with two exhibition games, Cameroon U-17 women’s
national team against a local selection and U-20 national team that featured
former Cameroon international Geremi Sorel Ngitap in the second half.
“I
wish during my days we had this type of stadium, I am so overwhelmed I had to
lace my boots for the game and for the fact that the stadium is constructed in
my village”, Njitap said.
Cameroon’s
