Another batch of Teachers, Assistant Nurses
and Business students has recently been sent out to the job market by NABVOC
University Complex Kumba this October 22, 2016 in a graduation ceremony at the
Kumba City Council Banquet hall. The graduates included the 7th Batch of 59
Grade 1 Teachers, the 8th Batch of 7 Assistant Nurses and the 2nd Batch of 6
HND business students. The prize award graduation ceremony and convocation
ceremony was presided at by the Meme Divisional Delegate of Secondary
education, Akwo John Eyoh alongside the District Medical Officer for Kumba
Health District.
While
Addressing the graduating students who were Christianed “Batch of Expectation”,
the principal of the school, Mr. Chi Ngwa Linus reminded them that as an
Android Generation, much is expected from them in professionalism, management
of human and material resources, in medical Expertise and pedagogic endeavors.
He employed them to be of good example and keep the flag of the school flying
high wherever they find themselves. The principal reminded them that their
profession is a noble one that requires a lot of professional ethics and morals
so that the wellbeing of their pupils, students and patients respectively will
be of personal interest to them.
On
his part, the Divisional Delegate of Secondary education for Meme, Akwo John
Eyoh reminded the graduating students that they are celebrating merit and
excellence which they have achieved so far. He said they were not going to be
recognized by certificates but by their output of efficiency, adding that
teaching and nursing is a noble profession that many cannot pay.
The
delegate congratulated the staff and the school administration for sparing no
effort to ensure the education of young Cameroonians. He called on the
graduands to be ambassadors of NABVOC University Complex of Kumba wherever they
go. Present at the graduation ceremony were the D.M.O personal representative,
the Regional Pedagogic Adviser, Principals of GTTTC Kumba and Douala.
