Tanzanian Club Sacks Cameroonian Coach Joseph Omog

After their elimination from the CAF Champions League, Tanzania League Champions Azam FC on Monday parted ways with Cameroonian Head Coach Joseph Omog.
    According to the club, Omog and his assistant Coach, Kenyan Ibrahim Shikanda were sacked on grounds that their methods where not helping the team achieved its ambitions.

    “We have made some changes as Omog and one of the assistant Ibrahim Shikanda are leaving the club, while another assistant George Nsimbe takes over as interim Coach,” said a statement from the Club.
    Azam lost 2-3 to Sudanese team El-Merreikh after two legs , after losing 3-0 in Khartoum after they had won the first leg by 2-0 in Dar es salaam.
    Joseph Omog joined Azam FC in December 2013 taking over from Stewart John Hall, won the Ligi Kuu Bara (Tanzanian Premier League) unbeaten and now leaves Azam FC second on the log.
    Omog won the CAF Confederation Cup in 2012 with AC Leopard of Congo Brazaville.
