one pen, one book during every back to school to support vulnerable children
acquired education.
FOUNDATION
FACT provides orphanage provides care and assistance to those children who have
lost their parents’ love and support, allowing them to thrive and receive an
education. These Children are the most vulnerable members of society who need
consistent and comprehensive care and support to grow and prosper. These donations
ensure sustainable and comprehensive orphan- care.
Presiding
over the handing over ceremony, Madam MoussaLassomme, the personal
representative of the Minister of Social Affairs (MINAS) expressed thanks on
behalf of the Minister of Social Affairs. She said it was always joyful each
time any association, group or individuals made such gesture to the vulnerable
notably the orphans. Madam LassommeMoussa added such actions falls in line with
government policy of national solidarity with the less privilege in the
society. President Paul Biya pays particular attention to those who need
assistant to support daily needs. That explains why he is the number one
provider to all vulnerable persons, Madam Moussa opined.
On
her part the President of LES MARIANNES, thanked the women and other staff of
the French embassy for continued generosity. He equally thanked other partners
who have been extending their largesse to the Fact Foundation over the years.
She added that their donations are done yearly to assist vulnerable children
acquired education that is why they used the word one pen, one book. The

the centre how they receive and assist children between 5 and 18 years.
To
the children daily caretaker Nicole ONGBALOSSI, it’s a herculean task working
in an orphanage. The children come from diverse backgrounds and have different
mentality. But when they arrived at the centre we need to make understand how
to be well behalf to become responsible citizens. For example we have teach
them how to pray, live in harmony with
one another and developing interest in education or learning a trade that can
help be economically independent. All this is a huge challenge. Even feeding
them daily is not an easy tasked, Madam Nicole opined. The ceremony ended with
a family photo and entertainment.
Present
at the ceremony were Madam MoussaLassomme, Technical Adviser in the Ministry of
Social Affairs, Nyambilll DIKOSSO Henri, Director of National Solidarity, Madam
EDIMO MBAPPE Rachel, Regional Delegate for Ministry of Social Affairs for the
Centre Region, Representative of French Ambassador to Cameroon, other
dignitaries, Members LES MARIANNES, FOUNDATION Fact and the children in the
