Gaëlle Enganamouit, now Express Union Ambassador |
The Western Union Company (NYSE: WU), a
leader in global money transfer services, today announced that football player
Gaëlle Enganamouit will be Western Union’s new Brand Ambassador in Cameroon.
Enganamouit is recognized as one of the most talented female figures of
football of her country.
Gaëlle
Enganamouit talents were discovered at the age of 11, when she started her
football career at Tonnerre Kalara Football Club in Yaoundé. In 2012, Gaelle
joined the Serbian First League with Spartak Subotica, and played in the UEFA
Female Champions’ League for the first time. During the 2015 Female’s Football
World Cup, she scored three goals in the Cameroon v. Ecuador game. She is now
playing for the FC Rosengard, a Swedish club.
Throughout
her football career, Gaëlle Enganamouit, has reached major milestones. In 2014,
she played with the Cameroon national football team in the finale of the
African Championship, before raising the African Championship Cup in 2016. She
has also won several major awards: the best Cameroonian female football player
for the 2010-2011 season, Serbia’s Football Female Champion in 2013, Top Scorer
of the Swedish Championship, with 18 goals scored in 2015, and finally the Best
African Female Player of 2015.

businesses,” said Enganamouit.
