Minister Doh Jerome’s Bali Nyonga Residence Burnt

Minister Doh Jerome

The residence of the secretary of state for penitentiary administration, Doh Jerome Penbaga, has been burnt down in his native Bali Nyonga in the NW region.
Reports say the minister’s house was burnt on Saturday, 1 September 2018. It occurred after soldiers reportedly killed three civilians in Kopin, a farmland in Bali Nyonga. Minister Doh Jerome’s residence is situated in Jam-Jam quarters in Bali Nyonga.

No one has claimed responsibility for the arson. The minister had also not reacted to the incident at the press time yesterday.
Bali Nyonga has been one of the towns hardest hit by the ongoing Anglophone crisis. The central prison in the town was recently burnt, causing prisoners to escape.
