New Secondary Education Delegate for NW

By Njodzefe Nestor in B’da
Mr. Ngwang Roland Yuven
Mr Ngwang Roland Yuven has been appointed as the new Regional Delegate of Secondary Education for the North West region to replace Mr. Apah Itor Johnson who after piloting the affairs of the ministry in the region for over a year has been called to other duties.
He was appointed by a ministerial decree signed today August 24, 2018 by the Minister of Secondary Education, Prof. Nalova Lyonga Pauline.
The seasoned pedagogue before his appointment was the Principal of Government High School, GHS Kiyan in Bui Division of the North West region where he has serving since his appointment in 2016.

Mr. Ngwang Roland Yuven is taking over the delegation at a time when the ongoing socio-political crises that have plagued the North West and South West region since 2016 have adversely affected education, with many kids out of school and many teachers reported to have deserted their duty posts because of insecurity and some schools without infrastructure as result of arson attacks.
The new delegate is therefore expected amongst other things to ensure that schools effectively resume in all the divisions of the region and to ensure the strict implementation of the innovative policies laid down by the Minister of Secondary Education, Prof. Nalova Lyonga Pauline.
