Minister Talba Malla to Continue Managing Sonara Until
Further Notice

The President of the Republic, Paul Biya, has instructed the
newly appointed Minister of Public Contracts Ibrahim Malla Talba, to take
measures to ensure administrative continuity at SONARA, while also serving as
Minister of Public Contracts.
The
President’s instruction was contained in a communiqué signed by the SG of the
Presidency, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh.
“Based on instruction from the President of the Republic, I
have to honour to ask you to take, exceptionally and until the appointment of a
new GM at Sonara, necessary dispositions to ensure continuity of the services
of the said structure,” wrote Ferdinard Ngoh Ngoh in his release dated Wenesday
9 January.
Mr
Talba Ibrahim was appointed last week as the Minister Delegate at the
Presidency of the Republic in Charge of Public Contracts. His duties at Public
Works includes: launching invitations to tender in collaboration with
ministries and relevant ministries.
