By Njodzefe Nestor
Three persons are reported dead and eight others seriously wounded following a ghastly motor accident that occurred in Bui division of the North West region of Cameroon. Survivors of the accident are currently responding to treatment at the Banso Baptist Hospital in Kumbo.

The accident that occurred at the Kumbo neighborhood of Riba has been blamed on reckless driving and over speeding on bad roads. According to reports, a wood dealer and carpenter whose name The Median got as Mr Tahban hired a truck and assigned 11 of his apprentices to go and carry the planks in Kishiy village. On the way, the boys decided to go through Bamdzeng another Village further away from where the planks were located.
On their way back, the driver was tempted to accelerate continuously to the amusement of the boys who were sitting on top of the planks. On getting to a pot hole in the excess speed, the truck lost control and turned over while its occupants jumped for safety. Unfortunately, the planks fell on them leaving two dead on the spot while the third person gave op the ghost on the way to the Banso Baptist Hospital. The other seriously wounded boys are still receiving treatment at BBH.
