  1. The above-mentioned persons may have made their dutiful vows at a time when their leader's henchmen were under some form of pressure to do so. Today, it has become obvious that the same so-called leader, who orders his soldiers to burn down entire villages, hopitals and slaughter babies, toddlers, women and children in Kumbo, Batibo, Belo, Muyuka, Kumba, Mamfe, Limbe, Ekona, Buea, Mbengwi, Fundong, etc. should bravely resign and quit the political scene altogether. We find ourselves today in the midst of a bloodbath, indiscrimate slaughter, inhuman acts of torture by BIR forces in particular and various abuses of power by those who are supposed to be protecting their own citizens. This so-called leader should be called upon exactly in the same manner to resign and quit the political scene for good. More importantly, such uncalled-for acts of sycophancy and blind allegiance and support to a murderous leader should be something of the past. It should be seen as a direct path to a totalitarianism worse than Hitler's. Under these circumstances, why should Southern Cameroon be part of an illegal dictatorship, when a clear choice presents itself for it to opt firmly out of any link with La Republique du Cameroun?
