Pete Bakundu:

Villager gets heroe’s welcome after leaving jail
The youth president of Pete Bakundu village in Mbonge Sub-Division has been accorded a hero’s welcome after serving two days in Gendarmerie custody at Up Station Kumba. Dikonge Samuel Ndoh was granted bail by the Senior State Counsel for Meme, Alpha Emmanuel after a strongly-worded missive addressed to the Brigade commander by the elders of the village.
Dikonge Samuel Ndoh was arrested on Monday January 8, 2018 following a complaint by the chief of Pete Bakundu, Chief Simon Ndedi Penda. The youth president is said to have been wrongfully accused by the Chief for putting down the national flag of the country and hoisting the Ambazonia flag at the Palace.

According to the elders of Pete Bakundu, the chief is seeking for ways to settle scores with the youth president who is a member of a commission set to probe into the financial misappropriation of the chief.
The matter will appear before the examining magistrate on Tuesday January 23 for a proper hearing. Reports have it that upon arrival of the youth president there was heavy feasting where several crates of beer were consumed.
