New dawn for Kupe Muanenguba:

Minister Elung Paul and his wife thanking God for everything
Elung Paul preaches against politics of ego
The Minister Delegate to the Minister of Finance has told the people of Kupe Muanenguba that the era of politics of ego has passed and no Kupe Muanenguba elite should think that the division is a constituency carved out exclusively for them.
Elung Paul Che made the remark in his scripted keynote address on the occasion of the thanksgiving ceremony organized in Tombel in appreciation to President Paul Biya for appointing him as Minister Delegate to the MINFI.
Addressing the huge crowd that turned out at the Tombel ceremonial ground including over 15 government ministers, General managers of state corporations, senators, MPs, directors, friends and well wishers apart from thousands of Kupe Muanenguba kith and kith, H.E. Elung Paul fired a grim message to “cynics who still think that only sleazy politics and backstabbing can help them elbow their way through to and maintain themselves at the top.”
For those who are still out to touch with reality and who have refused to evolve with the changing times, Minister Elung enjoined them to fully grasp the message in President Paul Biya’s decision to appoint two ministers from Kupe Muanenguba division.

“This shows that we do not need to scuffle to get what we deserve; we do not need to pull down a brother or sister to take their place; yes, an additional one may not necessarily come to substitute, but to complement,” Minister Elung pointed out, exhorting naysayers to understand that “infighting and overblown egos still have no place in politics in Kupe Muanenguba division today.”
He reminded his hearers that Kupe Muanenguba division is a child of the New Deal and that since its creation in 1992, Kupe Muanenguba has been a corner stone of the New Deal Government. Proof of this is that the division has been represented in all successive governments since 1992, counting from John Ebong Ngole, to prof. Elvis Ngolle Ngolle, then Ngole Philip Ngwe and his humble self.
“So, if we are this blessed, why then the squabbles? If we are this privileged, why then do we waste valuable time on petty issues that only tear us apart? Elung wondered aloud, calling on Kupe Muanenguba elite to stop building camps and pushing their personal or private agenda within the division.
“It is no secret that the vast majority of the populations of Kupe Muanenguba militate in the CPDM. So, our agenda in Kupe Muanenguba should be that advanced by the National chairman of the CPDM Paul Biya,” he said.
Minister Elung used the occasion of the thanksgiving event to also point out to CPDM militants that the recent reorganization exercise was aimed to give a fresh impetus to the party and to consolidate rather than weaken the party’s position as the leading political party in Cameroon and “a genuine, broad-based and all inclusive movement for democracy.”
He debunked allegations propagated by some misguided individuals that the reorganization exercise in Kupe Muanenguba was marred by tribal resentment. Asserting that tribe has no place in Kupe Muanenguba, the minister said if this was otherwise then the election the former mayor of Tombel, Joseph Nchantchou, and the current mayor, Rose Ngassa, who is serving her second term, would not have been possible.
He therefore enjoined all the living forces in Kupe Muanengabe to stop bickering, do a serious soul searching and ensure genuine reconciliation so as to foster the development of the division.
