SDO for Meme Division, KoulboutAman David |
The non promotion of the SDO for Meme
Division, KoulboutAman David to the post of governor, and the DOs of Kumba I,
Kumba II and Kumba III as senior Divisional Officers has been blamed on the
sweeping victory of the opposition SDF party in the twin
parliamentary/legislative elections in 2013 in Kumba.
The
allegation was made during a planning meeting organized by the Meme IC CPDM
section, in Mambanda, Kumba III recently.
The meeting convened by the section president Mukwelle Isaac Nguba
focused on voters’ registration, reconciliation and the imminent installation
of the section executive following the reorganization of the basic organs of
the party in 2015.
In
his intervention at the meeting, the charge de mission for Mbonge CPDM, Babila
Eric, appealed to CPDM militants to unite forces if they must seize the Kumba
III council from the SDF during the 2018 elections. Babilla speculated that if the SDO for Meme
and the DOs for Kumba I, Kumba II and Kumba III have not been promoted it is
because they allowed the SDF to win in the Kumba I, Kumba II, Kumba III
municipalities and the lone parliamentary seat during the 2013 twin elections.
Accosted
by prying journalists to throw more light on the validity of his allegation,
Babilla said some of the administrators made the remark inadvertently in the
course of their conversations with members of the public.
The current SDO for Meme KoulboutAman David
has been at the helm of the division since 2010, while the DOs of Kumba I and
III have been in place since 2013.
As for the DO of Kumba II, Tsezode Pierre,
he has been in place since the creation of the subdivision in 2007. Some voices
are alleging that his meddling into the land matter involving the CBC where the
Prime Minister fellowships, is the reason for his abandonment in Kumba.
Also
in attendance at the CPDM Meme IC meeting was the WCPDM section president, Tazi
Bertha.
