NASA rewards deserving Ngie students

The Ngie All Students Association abbreviated and fondly called NASA, an umbrella association of students from Ngie sub-division in Momo division, has once more offered prizes to deserving and hardworking students in all the secondary schools in the sub-division.

                Championed by the national president of NASA, Clovis Etabili, the delegation established a pact of confidence, continuity, hard-work and excellence amongst the students where they preached the doctrine of education as the key to defeat poverty and underdevelopment.

                Coming up during the rainy season where the roads are horrible, the president of NASA and his delegation braved the odds and made a spot-by-spot appraisal of each and every school.

                From the villages of Andek, Teze, Tinachung, Abebung, Tinakoh and Ajei, the delegation stopped with a special message of hope for the students and the community. Their messages laid emphasis on academic and career orientation.

The students were counseled on the need to pursue professional courses and to dream big.  

                NASA executive took great interest in technical education and her role in fostering development. In this vein, the executive urged parents to send their children to the technical schools in the sub-division and make use of SAR/SM Andek.

                As for the parents who monitored the NASA outing at the various stops, they expressed their satisfaction with the gesture and promised to be at the service of association at all times. Some of the parents raised some pre-occupations which were addressed immediately with satisfactory responses.

                Spreading the activities to cover the entire sub-division, a NASA four-man home-based committee was put in place to spread the works of the association and keep the link between the grass-roots and the main office.

                Still along the lane of rewarding excellence, NASA’s Famous Eteno presented a project for the creation of a NASA website. To him, the project will sell the good image of the sub-division and bring her potentials to the limelight. The genuine project was immediately bought as aNgie Cultural and Development Association, NCUDA, assignment and NCUDA was charged to take-over.
