Executive members of the Manyu Elements Cultural Association MECA Kumba branch have resolved to travel to Yaounde to pay allegiance to the grand patron and leader of Manyu elements world-wide, Engineer Victor MengotArreyNkongho, Minister in charge of special Duties at the presidency of the Republic.
The decision to pay a courtesy visit to Minister Victor Mengot was taken during an executive meeting of MECA Kumba branch that took place on Friday 18th August 2016 in Kumba.  The new executive headed by Mr. AgborNduku John Eret was elected on Sunday 24th July 2016.
Speaking during the restrained exco meeting, AgborNduku thanked Manyu people in Kumba for taking the initiative to revamp MECA Kumba, and for electing him to head the new executive.

AgborNduku said it would be opportune for some members of the executive to travel to Yaounde and pay a courtesy visit to their grand patron, Hon. Victor ArreyMengot, who is now the unquestionable torch-bearer of Manyu people in and out of Cameroon.
After deliberating on the issue, MECA Kumba unanimously agreed to travel to Yaounde in November this year and pay allegiance to their minister and patron, Hon. Mengot Victor.  The members of the delegation to Yaounde would be chosen in a subsequent meeting, The Median was told.
Whilst in Yaounde, the MECA delegation would impress upon Minister Mengot to lobby for development projects to come to Manyu, and for more Manyu sons and daughters to be appointed to strategic positions in the public administration.
