New superintendent for Kumba prison

Asaah-NguMbah Walter, new prison boss
Kumba, headquarters of Meme division of the south west region now has a new prison boss.  Senior Prison Superintendent, Asaah-NguMbah Walters was commissioned into his functions on 17 August 2016 at the esplanade of the Kumba city grandstand, by the Regional Delegate of Penitentiary Administration for the South West, General Prison Superintendent, SoneNgolle, under the watchful eyes of the SDO for Meme KoulboutAman David.
                Installing the new prison superintendent, SoneNgolle challenged him to improve security at the prison as well as protect the human rights of inmates.
Welcoming the public on the occasion, the Kumba government delegate, Victor NkelleNgoh hailed Asaah-Ngu on his appointment to head one of the oldest prisons in the country. He also congratulated the outgoing prison boss, AhmidouPekariekoue for the wonderful job he did during his stay in Kumba.
                Talking to the press after his installation, Asaah-NguMbah Walter expressed gratitude to the minister of Justice and keeper of the seals, Laurant Esso for the confidence he has bestowed on him and prayed God to help him to accomplish the daunting task assigned to him.

                Asaah-Ngu promised to continue from where his predecessor ended and to bring about changes where and when need arises.
As for the outgoing superintendent who has being transferred to the Dschang principal prison in the same capacity, he thanked the Meme administration for their collaboration throughout his term in office.
                Asaah-NguMbah Walter was born on 13 July 1983 in Nkongsamba, littoral region. He hails from Lebialem Division in the south west region. He is holder of a Bachelor’s Degree, a Maitrise and a Master’s Degree in economics.
