Strategic Humanitarian Services SHUMAS-Cameroon has handed over an ultra-modern well laboratory with state of the art equipment worth over FCFA 35 million to Government Bilingual High School Sodiko located in Douala IV sub division, Wouri Division of the Littoral Region.
It was a jubilant population of Sodiko community that turned out in their numbers and in song and dance to receive what many termed a timely intervention for the science students of the school who before now had difficulties running their practical sessions.
The lack of a science laboratory did not only weaken the chances of students to pass their end of year and course exams, but also limited them to pursue their carrier goals in science related fields.
The laboratory was handed on to the school on Febraury 8, 2018 in a colourful ceremony presided at by the Divisional Officer of Douala IV. Also present were the traditional leaders from the Littoral, North West, South West and Benin Republic likewise the educational family of Douala IV.
