Charifa Republic launches beauty Salon

Charifa Republic, one of Cameroon’s leading beauty and wellness start ups has launched its beauty salon and spa likewise its skin care line called flawless with over 10 products.

                This was during a highly attended ceremony at the enterprise’s head quarters in Bamenda on November 28, 2018 attended amongst others by the Secretary General to the North West Governors, Ngwang Harry.

                As part of its corporate social responsibility, Charifa Republic started the launch by visiting the Bamenda Central Prison where they donated sanitary pads to female prisoners and other necessities.

                The launch was also an opportunity for the start-up to fete three years of existence and to celebrate the birthday of its illustrious CEO, Alima Aliyu Charifa.

                Speaking during the event, the Secretary General to the North West Governors, Ngwang Harry congratulated the Charifa Republic enterprise for such an initiative which he said will greatly reduce unemployment in Cameroon.

                Worthy of note is the fact that Charifa Republic employs more than 30 male and female Cameroonians from different backgrounds.

                 It is worth noting that Charifa Republic saw the light of day in November 2015 and was co-founded by Rabiatou Aliyu and Alima Aliyu Charifa. The startup started with just about two workers but today boasts of over 30 workers with a wild range of services offered.

                It’s CEO, Alima Aliyu Charifa, an educationist, consultant, social entrepreneur and beautician of no common compare has over the years been dedicated to realizing her vision of building a globally respected beauty company of Cameroonian origin.

                Her interest in beauty and wellness took her to Accra where she studied cosmetology, skincare, spa management and wig making.
