She also used the occasion to appeal to other sons and daughters of Kumba living in the Diaspora to emulate the examples of K.Town boys in Atlanta and do similar donations to the hospital in domains that will especially with equipment such as; a standby generator of about 200Kva, an operating table, anesthetic table, autoclaves etc that the hospital is badly in need of further boost its equipment pool and better their services.
On his part, the Chairman of the hospital’s management committee who doubles as Government Delegate to the Kumba City council, Ngoh Nkelle Victor, immensely expressed gratitude to the donors adding that their gesture will forever remain in the history of the hospital’s records.

Ngoh Nkelle recounted that despite the challenges that the donors encountered from the purchase to transportation and payment of custom duties, their willingness to see into it that their community back home is better up in the domain of health care didn’t let them down. While praying for more equipment from the donors in the future, Ngoh Nkelle revealed that, the beds, mattresses and other equipment are already being enjoyed by the patients in the hospital. He called on other Kumba sons and daughters to copy the example of K.Town boys in Atlanta and do more donations to the community.
The ceremony was under the watchful eyes of Meme SDO, Chamberlin Ntou’ou Ndong who used the occasion to urge all the hospital personnel to handle the equipment with so much care and with the fear of God. He warned all hospital workers against carrying the equipment to other areas to do works for their private interest. The event was animated by singing and traditional dance groups and ended with a guided tour of the SDO round the hospital.
