PCC Molyko inducts new Parish Pastor

By Boris Esono in Buea
After almost a year appointed as parish pastor of PCC Molyko and chaplain of UB, Rev Tah Christopher Fobang has been inducted to his office with a call for him to remember that he is a team leader and has a great task of enabling the flock of God stay focus. This call was made during a special induction ceremony held at the parish on Sunday March 12, 2017.
His induction comes at a time when the two Anglophone regions are facing unrest since November 21st, 2016 and internet blackout. According to the officiated pastor, Rev Ngwa Hosea, Presbyterial Secretary, “parishioners should stay focus especially as the society is going through trouble times. The situation prevailing in Cameroon is troubling. Instead of solving the problem blame is being shifted today to the churches, blame is even sectionalized calling people graffi. We do so forgetting that all dogs have grumbled and even bitten their owners once their due rights are suppressed for long”. “The truth is that there are enemies hidden amongst us but one thing is certain, these enemies will not remain in the shadows forever, will one day be exposed to shame”. He added. Rev Ngwa Hosea ended by calling on all he parishioners to remain thoughtful, prayerful, and focus n our race of faith hoping that one day God will vindicate us from our enemies.
The induction ceremony brought together Christians from the Molyko parish made up of PCC Molyko and Bokwai, the Regional Delegate of Communication for SW, invited guests and a host of others.
To the newly inductee, Rev Tah Christopher, “I am glad especially with the spirit shown by the Christians. I want to encourage my Christians to stay focus, to consolidate the church and also to win more souls for Christ, especially the students: we encourage them to study with God. Looking at the fact that about 60% of the population is made up of students, I am going to work with the grace of God create more time for them. It is a challenging task, but by the grace of God, I shall overcome it”.

Meanwhile to Stephanie Obi, Christian of PCC Molyko, says “she is so glad to be here to witness such an occasion as they have inducted a great preacher, and a great man to interact with as he has been with us for almost a year now. So we are privilege to have him”.
Rev Tah Christopher was appointed parish pastor of PCC Molyko and UB chaplain  in May 2016 after serving a year in Bujong, Mezam Division and He takes over from Rev Konde Oliver who has gone abroad to further his studies.
The event was crowned by photographs and gifts to the pastor and family.
