The populations of Buea road Kumba were
left in total confusion at the weekend as a 19-year-old boy was electrocuted at
his business place at the SawaLamboneighbourhood in Kumba. The young man whose
name we got as Clovert was an owner of a small provision store by the roadside
where he sells fermented soft drinks in a long big fridge and other items.
Report
holds that, on that fateful evening, Clovert was trying to clean his fridge
without disconnecting it from the main switch on the wall. As he open the door
of the fridge, eyewitness account says he held the door and remained standing
and speechless, only to be realize by onlookers that he was electrocuted.
Some
onlookers who saw what happened managed to push him with a wooden chair and as
he fell on the ground, they struggled to rescue his life by rushing him to the
hospital but he gave up the ghost on the way. Little did he know his own fridge
will take away his life.
