New President of the Boyo Fon's Union |
The Boyo Fons Union now has a new executive committee.
The ten man executive was elected 17 March 2018 in Laikom, Boyo Division of the
North West Region of Cameroon.
The
executive is led by HRM Ngochia Charles Mboine Ahidjo, Fon of Mejang village.
Fon Mbah Solomon of Ake is Vice President while Fon C. N Suzang IV of Mejung is
the Secretary General.
Other
elected executive committee members include Fon Teteji Ivo Muh of Achain as
Vice Secretary, Fon Ngieh E. M II of Sawi as Treasurer, Fon Gitang Michael of
Kimbi Financial secretary, Fon Wainbeng Azembi Vincent of Baicham as Organizing
Secretary, Fon Njong Gilbert of Mbessa as Dispute Officer, Fon Nsah Ngong
Stephen of Saff and Fon Ntam Joseph Munchim of Jull Advisers.
The new
bureau shall pilot the activities of the Union for the next five years.
It
should be noted that Fon Ndzi Clement of Kom was unanimously designated as
honorary president of the union.
The
president-elect has promised to uphold unity, pace and development as the watch
word during his tenure of office.
Fon Charles has appealed for collective opinions from all
sons and daughters of Boyo in order to move the division ahead.
In order to achieve his goal, Fon Charles told reporters
that his policy will be all-inclusive. That he will bring all on board to
realize the dream projects of the Union for the sustainable growth of the Boyo
division. Restoring the integrity and honour traditional institutions command,
he said, will also preoccupy his tenure of office.
As
custodian of tradition, they shall ensure strategies to teach the youth rich
cultural values and heritage so as to instill valor and value in the tradition
of the Boyo people.
The auxiliary
of the administration has taken the engagement, as he briefed reporters that
they will work closely with administration to support the maintenance of peace
and order.
Boyo
division hosts one of the five first class stools in the North West Region.
