| Over 10.000 people gathered to welcome Cabral Libi in Douala |
It was a mammoth crowd of over 10.000 youths that
converged on the Stade CICAM in the Douala 5 municipality to welcome their
hero, Cabral Libi, presidential candidate of the Universe party, on Sunday. The
38-year old Etoudi hopeful used the occasion to rekindle hope in the youths,
saying he is going to re-structure the country and ensure good governance,
provide better opportunities for the youths in the domains of education health,
economy and others.
He
promised to transform Cameroon from its present unstable state and improve on
the well-being of all Cameroonians.
The
youths described Cabral Libi as the best choice for the presidency. They said
they trust his competence and promised to give him 100% votes on 7 October.
Before
going to Douala, Cabral had opened his campaign in Edea in the Sanaga Maritime
division where he also addressed a huge crowd of his supporters.
Observers
say Cabral Libi is gradually imposing himself as the Emmanuel Macron of the
presidential race in Cameroon. So far he has pulled the biggest crowds since he
joined the presidential race and many believe he could spring a surprise in the
election.
