Amba Boys Behead Girl for Dating Soldier

A young lady whose name we got as Treasure Keno has brutally been murdered by Ambazonia fighters in Bamenda in the North West Region. The macabre act is said to have been carried out 3 August 2020.
    Reports say Treasure was murdered for having a love relationship with a soldier. Her corpse was dumped by the murderers at the road side. Shocking video showing her lifeless body went viral on social media. The video suggested she might have been raped then murdered.
    Another video that circulated showed her drinking and dancing with some young men. She was killed with the same dress she wore while dancing in the said video with the young men. It is not clear if the young she was dancing with in the video have a hand in her death.
    Reports we could not independently confirm has it that she once had love affairs with Amba fighters in her native Batibo village. Her ex-lovers tagged her as a blackleg and spy once they discovered she was in another relationship with a soldier. Residents of Old Town where she lived in Bamenda said she led a reckless lifestyle.
    The North West Coordinator of the Northwest Southwest Women's Task Force, SWNOT, Clodtilda Andiensa has condemned her death, stating that war should be fought on women.
    “Don’t fight war on women. A woman’s love life cannot be decided by parties in a conflict,” Andiensa said.
    At a time many are condemning the act, Ambazonia self-styled ‘General’ Capo Daniel has in an audio record released one day after the incident, justified the killing, stating that it is acceptable for spies to be killed during war. 
    Since the escalation of the crisis into an armed conflict, separatist fighters have killed many persons they consider ‘blacklegs’ or spy on their activities.
