Indomitable Lions of Cameroon to face Burkina Faso  in Paris on the 25 of May 2018
The indomitable Lions of Cameroon continue to prepare for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations with two friendly encounters programmed for the country. The team will face Burkina Faso on the 25th of May in Paris before taking on Uzbekistan, 3 days later in Tashkent.
One of the most sought after countries previously in terms of sparring partners for friendly encounters, the worth of Cameroon has slowly diminished over time.
Cameroon who is ranked 51st in the world by Football governing body FIFA in their April rankings will contest against two teams that are well below him on the standings. Burkina Faso is ranked 53rd while Uzbekistan is 88th in the world.

Cameroon that is coached by interim boss Alexandre Belinga will be looking forward to make it 3 wins from 3 friendly encounters when he takes on the two countries. The first friendly game for the coach was against Kuwait with Cameroon easily winning the encounter 3 goals to one.
During the friendly against Kuwait, self-imposed exile of players from the National team Andre Onana, Jean Armel Kana Biyick and Carlos Kameni made their return back to the squad.  Stoke City player Eric Maxim Choupo Moting was scheduled to play the friendly but pulled out at the last minute due to injury. It is however still unclear if the player will be available for the two friendly encounters coming up taking in to consideration that his side Stoke City was related to the English Championship for next season.
