A beautician in the Fiango Market whose
names The median got only as Fomo Beatrice was Sunday 7 August 2016 discovered
dead in a football field behind the Fiango market. The Median gathered that the woman from
Bafang in the Western region reported for business on Saturday 6 August.
We
further gathered that after Beatrice opened her business place for the day she
was invited to share a drink by another woman who had just set up her business.
Upon arrival we gathered she was offered a tot of whisky which she turned
down. She was later forced to recant her
decision, when the other women present scolded her for being jealous of the
other woman’s progress.
Soon
after gulping down this hot drink, Beatrice The median learnt complaint of a
rumbling stomach and left to go and stool.
The market toilet was locked so she decided to go and defecate in the
school field behind the market. Her
absence was not noticed until when the other market women started packing to go
home.
Her
almost decomposing body swarmed by flies was discovered Sunday morning by some
persons who went to play football in the school field. The Fiango market authorities, the police,
the administration and the medical authorizes in the Kumba district hospital
and family members were immediately alerted.
The Star contacted the president of the Fiango market Njinkeng Felix on
Monday 8 August. The median further
gathered,the woman 37 is married and a mother of 3.The police in kumba have
open an investigation into the matter.
