Cup of Cameroon preliminaries:


EEMSA, Opopo, CUSA Qualify

EEMSA Tiko bracing up for another participation in the Cup of Cameroon
EEMSA of Tiko, Victoria United alias Opopo and Catholic University Sports Academy, CUSA of Buea have booked their tickets for the 32nd edition of the Cup of Cameroon to represent the south west region.
            One of the most formidable clubs this year in the regional championship, Victoria United FC of Limbe alias OPOPO will be hoping to go one step better after they were knocked out last year at the semifinal stage by eventual champions New Stars of Douala.
            In the last round qualifiers, Victoria United booked their tickets by beating Future Soccer Stars Academy 1-0. The goal was scored thanks to Midodo Chiani.  Earlier, Vicoria United had outsmarted archrivals and Limbe base team LIFCA.
            Alongside Victoria United is EEMSA Tiko that eliminated Njalla Quan sports Academy, NQSA on post-match penalty shootout 3 goals to 2. At 90mins, the two sides were deadlocked at 1-all. EEMSA, the boyhood club of current UMS Loum captain, Joel Etogue, represented the region last year but was eliminated by DAC 2000 in the 64th finals.

            CUSA of Buea will make their entrance in the competition after they eliminated Little Foot FC 1 goal to zero in the last regional qualifying. This 3 clubs will thus be the regions flag bearers in the 2018 cup of Cameroon competition when the completion kick starts in the coming months.
            According to Mysoccer24.com, Federal de Noun, Red Stars de Bafoussam and Volcan de Noun are the 3 amateur clubs that will represent the west region in the 32nd finals of the cup of Cameroon.
            Meantime Rainbow FC and Foncha Street FC are the two regional league teams to represent the North West Region at the Cameroon cup. They picked their qualification tickets after the following results;
            Foncha Streeet FC won Bafmeng FC 3 goals to zero while Rainbow FC defeated Tatecam FC 2 goals to 1.
