Cabral Libih Secures 30m Caution, Confirms Candidacy
Cabral Libih has confirmed he will run for president
It is now certain! The candidate who calls himself the Emmanuel Macron of the 2018 Presidential election in Cameroon has finally put together the 30 million fcfa needed as caution for candidates in the election.
            Cabril Libih told CRTV radio yesterday, Wednesday 18 July that he has finally raised the 30 million francs caution thanks to the support of Cameroonians who believe and support him. Cabral confirmed he has paid the money at the Douala General Treasury and has secured the receipt.
            The 36-year-old said he is now finalizing his candidacy application file to submit same at the Littoral Branch of Elecam in Douala before the expiry of the deadline at 12 midnight on Thursday 19 July 2018.

            Cabral Libih’s candidature ill bring to 10 the number of candidature files submitted at Elecam. The others include: Paul Biya (CPDM), Akere Muna (FDP), Garga Haman (ADD), Maurice Kamto (MRC), Bertin Kissob (CPSJ), Kum Anu Ihims, Adamu Ndam Njoya (CDU), Issac Feuzeu (MERCI) and Beboro Kekomo (MTC).
            As we went to press yesterday the candidate for frontline opposition party SDF, Joshua Osih Nambangi had yet to submit his candidacy file. But we learned that Osih will submit his file any time before the deadline and that he would be accompanied to Elecam by party National Chairman, John Fru Ndi.
