Mbai becomes the 3rd striker this season to win the award after wins for Christian Emmanuel Nguidjol Bayemi of Eding Sport FC in February and Marius Mouandilmadji in April with midfielder Solomon Enounga winner the other.
Mbai takes over from Stade Renard goalkeeper, Tayiwoh Princewill, winner of the award in the Month of May. The Dragon hit man scored 5 goals and provided 1 assist in 5 games in the month of June.
Mbai scored a brace twice in June against AS Fortuna and Feutcheu FC and got a goal against Apejes of Mfou to takes him above Marius Mouandilmadji on the top scorer list with 17 goals this season.

Mbai has featured in 22 games this season scored 17 of Dragon’s 31 goals. Meaning the striker has scored 54.6% of his clubs goals this season despite missing 7 games.
The former USD and Etoile de Sahel striker is having the time of his life on the pitch and has contributed massively to keep Dragon’s hopes of survival alive.
This season Mbai has scored a hat trick against; YAFOOT FC,3 goals against AS Fortuna,2 goals each against; Apejes, Astres, Feutcheu FC and 1 goal each against; Unisport, USD, New Stars, Fovu and Cotonsport.

Winning the player of the month I June after finishing second to Marius in April shows Mbai is certainly improving.
