| Etoga Galax Yves Landry |
On the high instructions of the head of state, the
minister of defence will at 11 am on Monday 9 April 2018 preside over the
ceremony to officially hand the flag of the national gendarmerie to the new
Secretary of State for Defence in charge of the Gendarmerie, Etoga Galax Yves
Landry. The ceremony will take place at the esplanade of honour of the
Gendarmerie headquarters in Camp Yeyap, Yaounde. The ceremony will take place
in the presence of the former secretary of state for gendarmerie, Jean Baptiste
Bokam.
Etoga
Galax was appointed to his new functions on 2 March 2018 and he was installed
by the Mindef on 5 March 2018.
