He revealed that Bafut was amongst the areas that he prioritized during his tenure of office to beneit from Plan’s assistance. With this he urged his collaborators not to turn their backs to the Bafut community when he leaves.

In response, the proprietor of CONUPRIS Bafut, who doubles as paramount Fon of the Bafut people, HRM Fon ABUMBI III, described plan Cameroon’s gesture as a stich in time benefit the entire community and not the palace only. He promised judicious use of the amusement park games for generations to come. He also welcomed the citizenship of Mr. Famari Barro and assured him of a plot to settle anytime he comes.
On behalf of the population, the mayor of Bafut council, Langsi Abel said he was satisfied with plan Cameroon and the country director for what they have offered to the community through a palace community school. Mayor Langsi hailed the Fon for his educational endeavors in favour of children in his community.
“Some Fons are in the habit of violating the rights of the children but the Bafut Fon is advocating for children right,” he added.
Taking the queue the inspector for basic education Tubwa Charles saw Plan Cameroon as Moses of the basic education family. Not only has plan Cameroon given an amusement park to CONUPRIS Bafut, they have assisted many schools with books, benches, medication and other school accessories.
To spice the event, the kids of CONUPRIS presented a sketch in which they illustrated the difficulties of learning with a bad teacher and that of a good teacher.
