Woman delivers siamese twins in Ndop

A young woman has given birth to a set of conjoint twins at the Bambalang District Hospital in Ndop subdivision in the Ngoketunjia Division. The children were born on 13th August 2015.
Safuratou Arrieptoyap who can only express herself in her native language, is presently in the hospital praying for assistance from any persons or organisations of goodwill.
The children and their parents are praying and hoping that the First Lady Mrs Chantal Biya and any other benevolent people will to come to their rescue.

The Siamese twins, both of the female sex are linked at the abdomen. Medical authorities at the hospital say the situation could have been adverted if the mother had attended regular prenatal consultations.
Medics say it requires a careful, specialised and very costly surgical operation to separate the little girls.
The twin and their parents are still at the Bambalang Hospital hoping that some body somewhere will come to their assistance.
This is the second case of conjoint twins in less than a year in the North West Region after Davis and Daryl born on 27th August 2014 in the Banso Baptist Hospital.
