Catholic teacher abandons husband and kids for boyfriend

The 2016 Teachers’ Day has been celebrated in Cameroon at a time when teaching that was once considered a noble and respected profession, has virtually become a profession for every Tom, Dick and Harry in Cameroon: a veritable dumping ground for school dropouts and people of questionable morals.

                Eugene, a teacher in G.H.S Ekumbe, Meme Division of the South West region is said to have snatched Mme. Petra, a teacher at St Joseph’s Bilingual Primary School, Big Mankon, Bamenda from her husband. Lady Petra, in her mid 30s, although looking like a 20-year old, who had since been cuckolding her husband, finally abandoned him and their four children for her new better-half, Eugene.

                It is said that lady Petra used to be one of the best wives around: faithful to her husband, obedient, loving, caring, devoted etc. She had abandoned her secondary education midway, due hard times, to get married. Her husband, a Catholic Christian thanked God for giving him such a woman, devoted his life for her and decided to work relentlessly in order to make her more beautiful, learned and admirable.

                But little did he know he was preparing Petra for other men. Today Petra’s husband has become the laughing stock of his neighbourhood especially as he used to brag about Petra’s beauty and fidelity.

                Because he cannot stand the disgrace, Petra’s husband has gone into hiding, as Eugene is busy ‘servicing’ his wife at the Mile 3 Nkwenneighbourhood, in Bamenda.

It is said that Eugene and Petra started their illicit love affair when Petra’s husband was away for further studies in the School of Translators in Buea. When her husband graduated and was going about looking for a job, a road accident almost rendered him invalid. Today he is going on crutches.

                Like it is said: “Le malheur des uns font le bonheur des autres”, Eugene who had since been eyeing Petra, took advantage of the situation and grabbed Petra from the husband. It is said that Eugene who had just cashed his salary arrears (gros lot), following his graduation from ENS Bambili, literally spoiled lady Petra with cash.

                And Petra, who had been longing for a better lifestyle succumbed to Eugene’s advances. She started abandoning her marital bed and would only return very late at night or in the early hours of the morning.

                We are told that Eugene who has finally found his dream woman has also sent away his fiancée, Pauline, the mother of his 11-year old daughter.

                Petra’s husband, on his part, is now accusing Eugene of using “charms and a terrible black magic” on Petra to love him forever and never to love her husband again. The question on some lips is: did Eugene also make Petra’s husband to have the accidents, or did he want to kill him in order to take his wife?

                Eugene, a teacher in G.H.S Ekumbe is now always betwixt and between Ekumbe and Bamenda town. He has rented a house for Petra at Mile 3 NkwenBamenda, and also made her the Controller of his business in the neighbourhood.

                Petra has abandoned her husband and her 04 children, and is now living in the house with Eugene’s siblings. We also learned that Petra is already pregnant for Eugene.

                Meanwhile, Eugene’s fiancée, Pauline, has lodged a complaint against Petra for snatching her fiancé at the Catholic Education Secretariat, Big MankonBamenda. But it is feared that the problem may not be solved there because Petra’s husband had also reported her there when she abandoned her matrimonial home in February 2016 and the Catholic Education authorities turned a deaf ear to the complaint.

                It is also said that some of Petra’s siblings and one of her maternal uncles who had never cared about her wellbeing at the time Petra’s husband was struggling and suffering alone to upgrade her, are now bent on completely destroying Petra’s marriage.

                Even on Teachers’ Day, October 5, 2016 a great day for teachers and which is supposed to be a day of high morals for all the teachers, Eugene and Petra enjoyed the day together in their illicit love. Eugene did not spend this day with his colleagues in the South West Region. After thinking of Petra, somebody else’s wife, he travelled to Bamenda where they had wonderful enjoyment.
