Woman roasts adulterous husband with acid

25-year old Sylvie poured acid on her
husband in Limbe after suspecting him of having an affair with another woman.
A woman has on Monday March 20, 2017
reportedly killed her husband by pouring acid on him at his residence in Limbe,
South West Region of Cameroon. The accident, The Median learnt, occurred at
about 5 pm on Monday. a certain Fon Amos.
The
woman whose name got only as Sylvie, was accompanied by her friend Bih Mercy to
carry out the inhuman act on her 45-year old husband, by name Fon Amos, we
gathered.
The
two women went to the man’s residence where they poured acid on him. He was
immediately rushed to Douala for immediate medical attention. But he succumbed
to the burns at about 1am the following day, Tuesday, 21st March 2017, we were
reliably informed.
Sylvie
and her friend were immediately apprehended and detained by forces of law and
Order in Limbe. They are presently in police custody.
Questioned on the reason for her dastardly
act, Sylvie claimed her husband was having an affair with another woman.
Inhabitants
of Limbe are yet to come to terms with such acts perpetrated in the town of
frienship.
“It is unbelievable what I saw today,”
exclaimed an eye witness.
Fon
Amos’ corpse is presently lying at the Limbe regional hospital mortuary
awaiting burial.
