| Atangana Clement |
President Biya has on 7 March 2017 appointed 11 members to
the constitutional council. Another decree appointed Atangana Clement, retired
Supreme Court judge as President of the Constitutional council. Those appointed
to serve as pioneer members for a period of six years include: Emmanuel Mbonde,
Joseph Marie Bipoun Woum, Madame
Florence Rita Arrey, Emile Essombe, Paul Nkwi, Jean Baptiste Baskouda, Oumarou
Sanda, Lekene Donfack, Akame Foumane and Amadou Tijani
