Fallen Police Inspector decorated

Kumba Municipal Grandstand: Senior Police Superintendent, Mvogo Jean Marie, decorates Police Inspector killed in Kombone with post-humous Medal of Valour
Senior police inspector, Menye Emmanuel Minkoulou killed by "Odeshi Ambazonia Soldiers" in Mbonge Sub-Division, Southwest Region has been posthumously elevated to a higher rank and decorated with medal of valour, by the Head of State, Paul Biya.
                The fallen police inspector was paid last honours in a solemn ceremony at the Kumba Municipal Grand stand on Friday 2 February 2018.
                The military ritual was presided over by the Commander of the Rapid Intervention Unit of the Police Force, Senior Superintendent of Police, Mvogo Jean Marie, deputizing for the Delegate General of National Security, Martin Mbarga Ngeule. Other top police officials in the region also assisted at the ceremony. 
                Also present were Meme SDO, Chamberlin Ntou'ou Ndong, MPs, Mayors and many others who matter in the division.

                Senior police inspector, Menye Minkoulou, was slain at Kombone Town village on January 5, 2018 while on duty at a mixed police/Gendamerie check point.  His casket was wrapped with the National flag and placed in front of the Kumba City Grand Stand where Commissioner Divisionaire Mvogo Jean Marie and other top police officials and colleagues, relatives and well-wishers had assembled to pay him their last respects.
                The Head of State through the SDO of Meme, Chamberlin Ntou'ou Ndong and commissioner Mvogo promised the bereaved family that the Nation will continue to hold the fallen officer in high esteem and will ensure that they are paid all his dues as stipulated by law.
                Born in December 1983, Senior Police Inspector Menye Minkoulou joined the police force in July 2014 as a 1st grade Police Inspector. He served successively at Ebolowa Central Police Station,  Tiko public security post,  southwest regional regiment for highway and traffic control in Buea from where he was deployed for special duties in Mbonge. He leaves behind a wife, three children, friends and colleagues to mourn him.
