The Manyu Declaration





“We, the population and life forces of Manyu division:
Members of Government,
Parliamentarians,
Members of the CPDM Central Committee,
Section presidents,
Mayors,
Traditional rulers,
Religious authorities,
Socio-cultural groups,
Militants and sympathizers of the CPDM,
The elite,
- Considering the on-going war against the terrorist group Boko Haram that continues to threaten the peace, security, stability and the territorial integrity of our country and the decisive measures H. E. President Paul Biya has taken which have received the total acclamation and adhesion of the national and international communities;
- In view of the several political and economic reforms and realisations undertaken by the New Deal Government and in particular, the on-going major projects and the contingency programme geared towards the emergence of Cameroon by 2035;
- Congnizant of the incessant fight that H.E. President Paul Biya has been waging against corruption and other forms of malpractices;
- Aware of the present strong diplomatic standing Cameroon enjoys in its international cooperation and the clairvoyance of President Paul Biya in steering the diplomacy of sate orientating the country towards economic diplomacy;

- Mindful, in particular, of the on-going construction of the Kumba-Mamfe road, the near completion of the Batibo-Mamfe-Ekok road, the re-appointment of two eminent sons of Manyu in Government and the recent appointment of other Manyu sons and daughters to positions of responsibility in the administration;
                After a vivid analysis and careful review of the security, socio-economic and political situation of our beloved country, Cameroon, hereby declare;
                -              Their renewed and unalloyed loyalty and steadfast support to the national president of the CPDM, comrade Paul Biya, and to the institutions of the state which he incarnates.
                -              Their exhortation for President Paul Biya to answer the clarion call of the large majority of the Cameroonian people to present his candidature for the forth coming presidential elections.
                -              Their appreciation for his fatherly attention an consideration to matters pertaining to the youth as they heartily await his message to them on the occasion of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the national youth day.
                -              Pray the Lord Almighty to continue to grant him good health, wisdom and long life at the helm of our dear fatherland Cameroon”.
