Some 80 Families of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Eyumojock subdivision, Manyu Division have received gifts from the Presidential Couple. The items that were handed to the IDPs by the Divisional Officer, Nelson Yongkuma comprised matrasses, blankets, soaps, rice, toiletries, and sardine amongst others.
Yongkuma while distributing the items appealed to those still in the bushes to drop their arms, give peace a chance and benefit government humanitarian action plan while waiting for a complete return to peace and normalcy. He said the donation is an indication of the attachment of the Head of State and Wife to the plight of the people of Eyumojock.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the Presidential couple for thinking of them and promised to jealously make use of the gifts which they said would improve on their living standards.
