Refugees & IDPs are Returning

The persons who escaped the war some years ago are returning. The situation is returning to normalcy. The population has understood that what the secessionists told them was fake. So they are coming back to continue with their daily activities…they appreciate the message of the Head of State and the measures put in place to alleviate their suffering. The population has begun denouncing the secessionists. This is a very good thing. The population has understood the appeal of the Head of State and they are preparing for elections.




Situation in NW Is Under Control

The security situation is globally under control and this is thanks greatly to the increasing collaboration of the population, the elite and the living forces of the region. I chaired a security meeting last week to assess the security situation and start preparing the groundwork for the upcoming elections that will be organise throughout the region. The administrative authorities and security services have promised to accompany Elecam in the process. After the Major National Dialogue, it is time to prepare the groundwork for the implementation of the Special Status. I therefore appeal to all the living forces of the region to mobilise the people to start preparing for the implementation of the special status.
