Minister Gentry noted that they will not only descend to the field for campaigns but take advantage of the calm and serenity that has been reigning in some parts of the area to continue preaching peace to their people. He said Donga Mantung which has remained the bastion of the CPDM since the beginning of the armed conflict in the two Anglophone regions would set the pace in terms of massive participation for other Divisions to follow in the region and the country at large during the twin polls.
On his part, aspiring MP for Nkambe Central, Ngala Gerald, who is running unopposed on the CPDM ticket, said nothing will be taken for granted during the polls and that the region and the country at large will see that the Division as pacesetters.
Yah Judith Sunday Achidi, CAMTEL Director General cum member of the campaign team said she was counting on the female folk ahead of the polls to secure a better future for the children of the area. The militants all vowed to win the four parliament seats and five councils of the Division.
